The name “Jasmine” comes from the Persian word Yasmin, meaning “gift of God.” Unlike other flowers that seek the limelight, jasmine is the star of the night. Jasmine holds onto its fragrance during the day and releases it with intoxicating generosity at nightfall. It is the perfume of introspection and of calm encounters after the heat.
